Fluorine-compound-based coatings are widely used across numerous industries thanks to their excellent water and oil repellency, anti-dirt properties and non-stick performance, as well as their high chemical and heat resistance.
However, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are known for their environmental persistence and bioaccumulation, which poses potential risks to human health.
Consequently, the use of certain PFAS compounds (PFOS, PFOA and PFHxS) has already been prohibited.
In light of EU regulations limiting all organic fluorocompounds, there is a growing demand for alternatives.
To meet these new demands, we've developed the fluorine compound-free,non-stick and anti-dirt coating solutions.
Product features, specifications
TOP CERARELEASE IG is a fluorine compound-free non-adhesive, stain-resistant coating solution.
It can be applied by spraying and then heat-treated at 150°C to produce a transparent silica-based coating film.
It provides non-adhesiveness, corrosion resistance, stain resistance, as well as water and oil repellency equivalent to those of general fluorine coating agents.
The three-component composition of the main agent, hardener, and non-adhesive agent does not contain fluorine compounds, making it compliant with PFAS regulations.
