Black-color inorganic pigments generally contain chromium oxide to improve heat-, chemical resistance and the degree of blackness. Currently, the use of hexavalent chromium is regulated because of its toxicity; however, trivalent chromium and cobalt are exempt from environmental regulations.
We consider that trivalent chromium and cobalt may be the target of some kinds of regulations in the future, thus we have developed eco- and human friendly product, chromium-free, cobalt-free black pigment (CFP-6010BK2) to be ahead of the times.
